Kinesiologist

Mackenzie Humphrey

Mackenzie received his BSc in Kinesiology from The University of Victoria in 2023 and became certified with the BCAK shortly after. Prior to this, he earned his ACSM Certified Personal Trainer in 2021 and before that spent several years as a varsity soccer athlete in Alberta. For years, Mackenzie has been working, coaching, and teaching in health and fitness. He has always enjoyed exercising, but developed a keen interest in rehabilitation after recovering from several of his own sports injuries.

Mackenzie has worked hard to develop communication skills necessary to be a good kinesiologist. Alongside half a decade in the hospitality industry, he earned a minor in psychology with his BSc and has ample volunteer experience in face to face helping roles, such as STEP (Sharing Time With Elders Project) and the UVIC Peer Support Centre.

He has a strong desire to work with others and has a great admiration for the human body and its potential. These days he is still spending some time on the side volunteering with the elderly and working in hospitality. He likes to surf, go camping, watch movies, and spend time with friends.
